What a day! We went to Tia Lucia’s and I got to meet my cousin Sergio who was working out of town! What a great guy! My aunt was making Milanesa for lunch and Sergio and I had to go to the bakery to grab bread. He took the scenic route to show me parts of Buenos Aires that was amazing! Such amazing looking buildings and stuff! We went and picked up Brian and Karyn and went back to my aunts for lunch! Oscar came by and started to get the Asado going where he brought Beef and Suckling from his ranch. I have to say I’ve not ever eaten anything that delicious in my life. He cooked the Heart and Kidney as well and they only seasoning he used on the meat was just salt but holy crap the flavor!! We had an amazing dinner with the family and after that the Fernet was passed around (They drink this alcohol out of a big glass with Coke and pass it around to everyone). Monica made a lemon meringue pie with lemons from her tree for my mom’s 80th birthday! The music started to get loud and a Latin Dance Party broke out where everyone (Including me) dances the night away, It feels so amazing to be around family close to age with me as well as being around my favorite people in the world. This culture is so rich with love and believes family is everything it makes my heart happy to be surrounded by this! It’s great to see how close the cousins are with each other!
